We tried a new winery this Wine Friday, Monte De Oro Winery. This winery is right off Rancho California Rd, so on the main Temecula Wine Trail. You can see Monte De Oro's large patio with red umbrellas from Rancho California Rd. I have always wanted to come & check out that patio & it didn't disappoint!
It was a hot day, hence my sweaty appearance, so we opted to stay inside, but if you are looking to sit outside & have lunch this is a great spot to go! Their menu looked really tasty. I love when a winery has food options. Always looking for spots to take guests & clients to lunch when they come to town.
Monte De Oro has a variety of wine choices. We chose to have their 6 variety tasting. Whether you like White Wine or Red Wine you have options here. The only bummer is they didn't have a sparkling option. I LOVE bubbles and would have chosen that right away, if it was offered. (I survived just fine!)
We love when we can meet up with friends at a winery on Friday, a perk of living here in the Temecula Valley.
