Hey, it's Lori and Hannah with The Cutka Team, and we are here today talking about the five steps in the home buying process.

1. Step number one is the pre-approval. This is a very important first step. If you are going to be getting a loan to purchase a home, you want to do step one first, and that is speak to a lender to get your pre-approval for a loan to purchase a home.

2. Step number two is the home shopping. This is the fun part. You go to see Houses with your Realtor, and decide what you're looking for in a home. You tour homes, and then you find the one that you love.

3. Step number three is the offer in negotiation. This is when we get to work, making sure that the property is priced properly, and then we decide what you want to offer. We will look at the taxes, we look at the hoa, and we make sure that all the expenses with that offer fit your budget. So we place the offer and we negotiate with the seller.

4. Step number four is the escrow period. Once you have your offer accepted, you enter in this period called escrow, where you have home inspections, appraisals, repair, negotiations, and a final loan approval.

5. And then step number five....Get your keys. Get your Keys!
